Next Date Filter on the Juror Tab

Next Date Filter

The Next Date filter allows the jury office staff to display only those jurors selected to appear on a specific date. Additionally, jurors who have been excused or exempted from jury service for that particular date will not be displayed. (i.e., If a juror’s Exempt date is the same as their Next date, they will not be displayed.) Exempt dates are copied into Appear from the court’s host database during data refresh.  Each juror’s Exempt dates, if any, are shown in a drop-down list at the bottom of their Juror Profile screen.  The Next Date filter allows the jury office staff to more efficiently assign Scheduled To Appear messages. You can now hide jurors with a partial excuse date that matches the selected Next Date. NOTE: This box is checked by default.

To Use the Next Date Filter

      1.    With the Pools tab open, find the Next Date Filter in the Message Filter below the Message Assignment Bar.

      2.    Click on the drop-down arrow to the right of Next Date. Select the Next Date to filter by from the pop-up calendar.

    3.    Click to turn on/off the Hide Partial Excuse Dates option.

    4.    Click the On button to the right of Next Date. The Juror List now displays only those jurors with the Next appearance date you selected in step 2. (From this filtered list of jurors, you may want to Select All and assign a Scheduled To Appear message.)
